About

Hi, I’m Açelya Lejeune. I am a UX/UI Designer with around 15 years of experience in visual communication, branding, graphic design and digital design. Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of creative and digital projects, developing a strong sense of layout, typography, color, visual hierarchy and clear digital communication.

A design background shaped across countries I started my career in Antalya and continued working with agencies, print studios and creative projects in Northern Cyprus, England and Belgium. This international path shaped the way I approach design: with attention to clarity, adaptability, visual detail and the needs of different audiences.

Expanding design into frontend and AI applications After many years in design, I decided to deepen my technical skills and completed a two-year Frontend Developer programme in Liège, Belgium. During this training and through my portfolio projects, I worked with Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Python and Flask.

Today, I combine my visual design background with frontend development skills to create clear, responsive and realistic digital interfaces. My work focuses on UX/UI design, SCSS, responsive layouts, UI integration, CMS-based projects, Git/GitHub workflows and the foundations of AI-powered application development.
